Mark David Chapman, the man who shot and killed Beatles legend John Lennon, is up for parole for the seventh time.
The hearing will begin tomorrow and will last two to three days, with a decision expected by the end of the week.
Chapman murdered the Beatles musician on December 8, 1980, and was sentenced in 1981 to between 20 years and life in prison.
He was just 25 at the time of the killing and now, aged 57, is being held at the Wende maximum security prison in Alden, New York.
