Justin Bieber related to Ryan Gosling, Avril Lavigne?
Genealogists have claimed that Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber is a distant cousin of fellow Canuck stars Avril Lavigne and Ryan Gosling.
Michelle Ercanback, a researcher from Ancestry.com, said, "The great thing about family history is that you never know what you're going to find… It was a very pleasant surprise."
Ancestry.com began researching Bieber's family tree a year ago and has reportedly found that the 18-year-old is Gosling's 11th cousin once removed, and that he is related to Lavigne as 12th cousins.
Apparently, the Biebs and Celine Dion are also 10th cousins three times removed.
