A rabid Justin Bieber fan has forked out NZ$855 to buy a water bottle the 16-year-old popstar had one sip from.
The fan's parents shelled out the money after the water bottle appeared on New Zealand website Trade Me.
Emma Hall-Phillips, 16, and possibly the only teen not obsessed with the Canadian crooner, met Bieber when he was in a make-up room at New Zealand's TV3 studio.
Bieber took a sip from the bottle but quickly put it down, saying, "Ew, what's this?" about the sparkling water.
Emma's mum, who works at the studio, snapped up the bottle and Emma put it online.
"I put it on TradeMe to see how much I could get from the crazy fans," she said.
They expected about $30 but ended up with a lot more, which they will donate to cancer charity CanTeen.
"I'm not (a) crazy Justin Bieber fan. I'd rather sell it and give money to a good cause," Emma said.
