Justin Bieber's mum to pen a memoir

Nowhere But Up: The Justin Bieber Story is the name of the upcoming book, to be published by Revell.

Justin Bieber himself will write the foreword to the book penned by his mother and co-writer A.J. Gregory, which is set to be released September 18.

The book will not only cover Mallette's experience as the superstar's mother - she will also discuss her own story of abuse, trauma and addiction, including a suicide attempt in her teens, and how being pregnant with Justin changed her life.

In 2010 the Biebs published his first book, First Step 2 Forever: My Story, with the second, Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started, also due in September.

Mallette plans to donate some of the book's proceeds to charity.
