Katy Perry spotted getting close to Florence and the Machine guitarist

Over the weekend popstar Katy Perry had fun in the sun at the celeb-filled music festival Coachella.

We’ve seen lots of pictures of her partying with Rihanna and trying different festival looks, as well as doing a spoof video of Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe.

But what caught our eye was a picture of the singer holding hands with a young man, who just so happens to be the very handsome guitarist, Rob Ackroyd, from Florence and the Machine.

We all know that holding hands doesn’t mean they’re seeing each other, but there could be something more than just friends going on.

After the festival Rob tweeted: ‘Best Coachella ever. Scratch that, best weekend ever. Dre, Snoop, Pac, Nate, Fiddy & KP.’

KP, eh? Well that’s clearly Katy Perry, but why did he feel the need to just write her initials, could he be hiding something?

Katy on the other hand hasn’t mentioned the guitarist on Twitter but you never know perhaps they are seeing each other or maybe it was just festival fling or maybe they are just friends, which is the more boring explanation.
