Katy Perry's album Teenage Dream is on its way to carving a permanent place in music chart history by reaching the same level of #1 successes as Bad by the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.
The first four singles released from Teenage Dream -- "California Gurls," "Firework," "E.T.," and "Teenage Dream" – all peaked in the top spot on the Billboard Top 100 charts.
Perry’s latest infectious single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" has just secured the top spot on the Billboard Pop Chart and is possibly just days away from securing the #1 position on the Billboard Top 100 chart.
If (and when) "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" nabs this highly desired spot, Teenage Dream will become the first album in 19 years to achieve this epic level of success.
Go, Katy, go!
