Oh dear. Serial trashbag Ke$ha has taken aim at Britney Spears and her vocal difficulties, lambasting the Queen of Pop for miming on stage.
Australian media savaged Spears for her mimed performances during her maiden Australian tour in 2009, and Ke$ha has echoed their sentiments:
"I think that’s bulls**t...I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance.
"No offense to her [Spears] specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I have been up at three in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime.
"It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing. Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don’t want to treat my fans like they are stupid.
Following Ke$ha's attack, Sam Lufti (long term Spears-saga enthusiasts will be well aware of Lufti's Spears connections, otherwise Google is your friend) jumped to Spears' defence, tweeting:
@keshasuxx Don't try to knock Britney Spears to try to make headlines. Might as well just shave your head and hang out with me for the week
