Kelly Osbourne cried when she donned a bikini for the first time for the cover of Shape magazine after losing 22kgs to slim down to a very slight 50kg.
The daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne said she'd spent most of her life being called "chubby" so couldn't believe she was baring her belly for the world to see.
"I've never worn a bikini in my whole life. I'm so nervous. After being called 'cherubic' and 'chubby' I'm rocking a bikini," she said.
"Being on the cover of Shape is the biggest victory I could hope for."
Osbourne lost a massive amount of weight during and after her appearance on the US version of Dancing With The Stars.
The gruelling training required by the show forced her to give up her unhealthy eating habits, which included burgers and chips every day.
"I'd fill up on french fries and pizza all day and wonder why I wasn't losing weight. In the very beginning, I kept getting sick during rehersals because I was eating such terrible, fatty food and feeling so exhausted," she told the mag.
Once the show was over, Osbourne kept up her healthy eating habits and stepped up her gym work. But she said self-hatred made working out hard.
"I would look at myself and think, 'Ugh!' I was miserable. To get to the gym - when you already don't like yourself - is really hard," she said.
"So I had to make it fun. I started wearing cute outfits and putting on a little bit of make-up. And as vain as it sounds, it really helped me because eventually I stopped hating the way I looked."
