Kiera Knightley angers people everywhere by claiming she hates skinny jeans because they make her feel ‘bad’ about herself
Actress Kiera Knightley, you know the ridiculously slim one who moonlights as a model, has declared she hates micro-skirts and skinny jeans.
But she doesn’t hate them because it’s not her style, oh no, it’s because she thinks they were invented ‘ to make you feel bad about yourself.’
Talking to W magazine about the trends, which lets face it were invented with people like Kiera in mind, she said: 'I think skinny jeans and micro-miniskirts are very unfriendly.
'I've been known to wear both, but on some days it seems like they were invented to make you feel bad about yourself.'
Well, there’s no hope for the rest of us, is there? We’re just going to hide our skinny jean clad legs under the desk for the rest of the day.
Apart from being annoying, she does look pretty good on the cover of the 40th anniversary issue of the fashion mag, styled as the face of the 2000s.
To celebrate the landmark for the publication, Scarlett Johansson and Rooney Mara have also taken on a decade for special front covers.
Scarlett has taken on the 90s, while Roony is the 70s, but we have to say Scarlett’s is our favourite by far because she looks all grungy and brooding.
