It sounds like Jared Followill from Kings of Leon had a big night at the Bonnaroo festival in the US.
Apparently he was momentarily "arrested" for some antics involving a golf cart.
In an interview guest-hosted by Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull it was revealed he had been yelling "show us your boobs" from the sanctuary of the speeding cart. And one of the objects of his affection turned out to be Hull's sister.
Hull didn't seem to mind. "He was saying it to almost every single girl," he told Paste Magazine. "I would say more than every single girl - even men."
But soon after, things went pear-shaped for Followill. "We got thrown into the mud," he said. “There were two girls kissing. We circled around them maybe eight or nine times," he laughed. "We were circling around them to get a better scope on things.
“Somebody had a drink on there (on the cart) and you can't have a drink on there. They told us to pull over and I didn't. And then a cart came in front of us and hit our cart. And then I got sat down in the mud. Somebody told him like, 'do you know who he is'? And he was like, 'no' and they told him who I was. He said 'I know that band and he is not one of them'. And I said 'I swear to God I'm in The Killers, let me go'."
It all sounds a bit frat-boy on paper but with Followill’s cheeky smile and “I swear to God I’m in The Killers” lie, we have to laugh - right?
