Joe Jonas is used to causing a stir wherever he goes - but not at the airport for trying to smuggle knives onto an international flight.
The goody-goody Jonas Brother sent security at Abu Dhabi into a spin this week when they discovered a set of knives in his carry on baggage.
"We were going from the Middle East to New York, so there was tons of security, tons of screenings," his rumoured girlfriend Ashley Greene said.
"We got through one, surprisingly enough."
But once they reached the second checkpoint airport security "looked at us with these stern faces like, 'What's in your bag?'"
Turns out Joe wasn't trying to give his Disney image a bad boy makeover - the avid cook had mistakenly packed some cheese knives he'd bought into his carry-on bags.
"Whoopsies," was his very un-bad boy response.
"Whoopsies doesn't cut it,"Greene told a US chat show, laughing, "We were about to get arrested."
