Kristen Stewart says she looks angry all the time and needs a face transplant.
The 20-year-old Twilight star has opened up about the paparazzi that stalk her every move and her fascination with co-star Taylor Lautner’s love of meat patties.
In an exclusive chat with Ryan, Monty and Wippa, Kristen backflipped on previous comments in which she compared paparazzi to rapists, saying their constant presence in her life “wasn’t a big deal.”
“I know it looks crazy – our lives,” she said from her Sydney hotel room ahead of her Q&A at Luna Park.
“We are followed around by all these people and photographers and I look angry all the time, blah, blah, whatever.
“I get to do like, on the most grand scale, what I love to do and it’s so fleeting really. I mean, when there are photographers outside yeah it’s annoying for five minutes but then you get back to your life and back to your work.
“It’s really not a big deal.”
Kristen was in an especially good mood during her chat with Ryan, Monty and Wippa, a far cry from the sour demeanor she presented to fans and photographers yesterday when she gave them the finger from her hotel balcony.
“I need to get a face transplant, seriously,” she joked.
The 20-year-old’s mum is Australian and Kristen has said she would like to study English in Australia because she likes the lingo.
“(Mum) says ‘how you going’ all the time and she says ‘have a shower’ and I’m always like, ‘What do you mean, have a shower?’ But I think you guys might be right to be honest,” she said.
“I’ve always been totally obsessed with reading and I was good in school too. Then I got totally obsessed with my job like everybody told me that I would.
“When I said I wanted to go to college they were like, ‘Yeah but things will pick up and you will probably want to do movies’ and they’re absolutely right.
“But I don’t want to say never (to moving to Australia), you know. Who knows? I’m into learning and I definitely want to spend more time here because this is only my third time back and my mum’s from here and she is – you Australians are really prideful – she’s obsessed with the place.”
Sitting with co-star Taylor Lautner, she admitted she liked his meat patties. Taylor famously admitted to carrying an esky of them around while he was bulking up for Eclipse.
“I’m into him being into meat patties,” she said.
