NIRVANA fans have gathered at one Kurt Cobain's famous sanctuary spots for the unveiling of a guitar memorial to mark the 17th anniversary of his death.
Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994, was honoured with a 3.9 metre statue of a guitar, created by artist Lora Malakoff, in an Aberdeen, Washington park.
The guitar will rest near the infamous Young Street Bridge, which the musician often sought refuge under to write lyrics.
