Kylie Minogue speaks about Dannii’s hurt over Cowell's revelations

In fact she still remains tight lipped about the subject, so her big sister Kylie has spoken out on her behalf to say what we were all thinking – that it was completely unnecessary for Simon to pipe-up about so soon after her siblings split from Kris Smith.

"My sister is going through a really difficult time. It was a bit of a second blow after 'Oh, my relationship has broken down."' Kylie said during a recent interview. When then asked whether she thought Simon had betrayed Dannii by talking to author Tom Bower, she replied:

"Well, he doesn't need to do any of those things. Or maybe he does... who knows? I don't know the guy."

Kyles then went onto talk about her sister’s break up from Smith and said she was "being pragmatic" about it.

"She and Kris have been amicable, and after heartbreak and disappointment, then it's just organisation, concentrating on Ethan," she said.

“But Dannii is tough... Dannii will be all right. Of course she'll be all right."
