Lauren Conrad is heading back to reality television, but this time around she'll be swapping boys for the boadroom.
The former star of The Hills has signed on with MTV to film a show about her efforts to create an evening wear line and build a fashion empire from the ground up.
She'll be designing and wheeling and dealing in Hollywood's fashion circles for the as yet untitled reality show.
"I'm so excited to take on this new project that really focuses on my new passion," she said.
"I'm happy to partnering with MTV because I have such an amazing relationship with them and love being a part of the network."
Conrad's first foray into reality television was for teen show Laguna Beach at the age of 17. When she left Laguna for LA, the cameras followed in the form of The Hills.
Since quitting The Hills to concentrate on fashion, she's released two fiction novels and has a third on the way as well as launching a fashion line.
No doubt this show will be a great way to advertise all those projects to make the California girl even richer.
