Leona Lewis denies romance with One Direction's Liam Payne

Metro quotes the singer as saying that the rumours are not true and that she's currently single.

Payne recently split from his girlfriend Danielle Peazer, while Lewis and former partner Dennis Jauch parted ways not long ago.

Payne called Lewis "beautiful" during a radio interview, saying, "I have liked her ever since she did The X Factor all of those years ago."

A source told The Mirror recently that Payne was "really excited about how things are going with Leona".

"As soon as the chance came to ask her out he grabbed it - and they really enjoyed their dates together," the source said.

"Although they were in London they managed to stay out of the limelight and are really into each other."
