DAVE Letterman has called Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy “Australian comedy legends” and plugged their upcoming show at Adelaide’s Fringe Festival.
How come? Well, American-born comedian Jeff Stilson performed on Letterman recently and the show he chose to get Dave to mention was the one he’s doing with Robbins and Molloy in Adelaide later this month.
“If business or pleasure takes you to Adelaide in February, drop in and see them,” the famous talk-show host said.
Everyone laughed after that for some reason.
Robbins said it was an honour and he could die a happy man now because Dave Letterman has mentioned his name.
Hughesy got less enjoyment out of it.
“Of course I’m jealous, I’d love to be on Letterman or be mentioned on Letterman in any way,” he said.
