But the judge denied the request and Lindsay will be forced to avoid alcohol for two weeks until she is locked up and the bracelet removed.

The full terms of her sentencing are three jail terms of 30 days for various DUI and reckless driving charges. Once her jail time has been completed, she must then spend the next 90 days in rehab.
She is banned from alcohol and will have to undergo drug and alcohol testing during her probation.
The Sherriff's department has confirmed she will be held apart from the general prison population for her safety and security.
The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case.
Lindsay broke down as the addressed the court, claiming she did the best she could.
"I wasn't expecting any special treatment. I have to provide for myself and my schedule is unfortunately different," she said.
"I'm not treating this as a joke. It's my life, my career and I've worked my whole life for it."
She broke down, holding her head in her hands when the sentence was read out.
Judge Marsha Revel went hard line on Lindsay, after the prosecutor claimed "you haven't caught her attention".
Revel said Lindsay hadn't taken the court seriously: "It's like someone who cheats but doesn't think it's cheating unless they get caught."
