Justin Bieber made the news two days ago when he announced he was planning on cutting off his trademark 'do.'
Before he made the big chop, Biebs offered Ellen one of his locks to auction off to a charity of her choice.
"I was inspired by your (haircut)," Bieber said to Ellen, handing her some hair.
"Yes, it's really my hair, but there's a perk. I wanted to do something good. I'm giving pieces of it to different people. We're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want."
Ellen picked the Californian animal and child-rescue centre -- The Gentle Barn -- as her nominated charity.
After just a few hours, the Justin Bieber's precious lock was already fetching huge amounts.
This morning Ellen tweetd her excitement: "My @JustinBieber hair has been up on ebay for an hour and it's already at $10,000!"
