As we all know, Madonna loves to court controversy and in her trademark style decided to do so this weekend by defying a ban on using fake guns onstage while performing in Scotland.
The singer had been warned by the police not to incorporate faux pistols and rifles into her routine when she took to the stage, however she flouted this rule and went ahead with it anyway.
It was thought that the cops would try to put a halt to her set if she did perform with guns, however they didn’t in the end – laziness all round really. A spokesperson for Mother’s Against Guns today said:
“Madonna and her dancers using replica guns was always in bad taste but given what happened in Colorado it is even worse. She should know better.”
Meanwhile during the concert Madge – who jetted back to London yesterday, where she’s seen in the above pictures - decided to make a quip audience, she told them:
“The last time I was in Scotland I got married. Let’s hope this visit has more lasting and promising memories.”
Hahahahaha – she’s a funny one isn’t she? No, you’re right she’s not.
