Madonna fans, the news we've been hanging for has arrived.... The Queen of Pop is set to head Down Under in 2013, to wrap up her massive world tour on Aussie soil.
Live Nation confirmed her global tour plans during a recent chat with Billboard.com. She'll kick off her journey in Israel at the end of May and will play up to 90 shows across the world.
Madonna will perform in 26 different European destinations including London, Paris, Milan and Berlin, before hitting North American at the end of August, where she will roll out a further 26 huge shows.
Madge is set to finish her show dates in Australia in early 2013. Woohoo!
The big news follows the massive success Madge achieved yesterday through the 2012 Super Bowl. The superstar treated the crowd to a ripper string of hits, and was joined on stage by LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee Lo Green.
She broke TV viewing records, clocking up a huge 114 million viewers; the Super Bowl's highest rated show in 26 years.
The last time Madonna was Down Under was back in '93. After 20 Madonna-free years Down Under, we suspect her Aussie diehard fans will pay hundreds, thousands even, to catch a glimpse of Madge on centre stage.
Madonna's new album MDNA is set for release at the end of March.
How much money would you fork out to see the Queen of Pop?
