After a few stints in jail and a couple of rehab attempts, 2010 just keeps getting worse for Lindsay Lohan who has been fired from porno biopic Inferno.
The troubled actress - drying out in rehab until next year - has been replaced by Malin Akerman in the movie about Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace.
Lohan had been accused of courting controversy by signing on to the movie, which is said to feature graphic sex and rape scenes.
Her father Michael Lohan told media it would destroy her career and was unhappy when its producers intentionally stalled shooting so Lohan could still star in the film once she was clean and clear of jail.
But after a few failed attempts at getting her life back on track this year, the producers have given up on the star.
Director Matthew Wilder, who stuck by Lohan "with a lot of love and support" during her two jail stints, has withdrawn his support.
"We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her - and some other issues - have made it impossible for us to go forward," he said.
Couples Retreat and Watchman star Akerman is rumoured to be taking her place.
