Get your utensils ready guys... it's almost MasterChef time!
Series two is upon us; Ricki-Lee Coulter went to the launch this week to check out the contestants, eat stacks of the MasterChef food and quiz the judges on what challenges we can expect. According to judge and famous foodie Matt Preston we're in for a treat.
"It’s fun doing a second series because you’re kind of liberated. We’ve been a bit more creative in terms of the challenges.”
We're so flippin' excited we can barely keep our canapés down. Last year pastry chef Adriano Zumbo sent one of his triple chocolate, caramel, layer cake masterpieces in to the NovaFM offices. We damn near died of happiness (and calorie overload).
Let's hope there's more where that comes from (hint, hint).
Secretly, were hoping for spatula slapping, colander crashing and loads of competitiveness. The icing on the MasterChef cake would be to see Preston eat his own cravat. Luckily, we don't make the calls... Channel Ten does. They've given us a special first look of the series.
