Matt Corby, Gotye, Kimbra up for APRA Song of the Year

The winner will be named on May 28 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Kimbra's "Cameo Lover" is up against Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know", which she also lends her vocals to (pictured).

Folksy singer Matt Corby is up for the gong with "Brother", while "(Oh Well) That's What You Get (Falling In Love With A Cowboy)" could win the prize for rockabilly darling Lanie Lane.

Facial hair lovers The Beards are competing for the title with their delicately named tune "You Should Consider Having Sex With A Bearded Man".
