Matthew Newton Arrest Sheet and Mugshot

Matthew Newton has been arrested again, the second time in a month, this time for allegedly assaulting a receptionist at a Miami hotel after an arguement about a phonecall which dropped out.

Matthew is claiming that the receptionist spat in his face, but CCTV footage doesn't back up his story.

The police report reads that he got into an arguement with the receptionist and that the "Defendant then went behind the counter and punched victim in face with closed fist and then pushed victim to the ground."

Newton is due to appear to face the assault charges on May 11 at 10am and is set to deal with his previous assault charges on May 15.
