The undisputed kings of heavy rock, Metallica, will return to Perth for one show at the Burswood Dome October 22.
James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will hit Australia in late October, early November playing a host of shows across the country. Metallica were last in Australia in early 2004 when they toured around the nation as part of the Big Day Out Festival.
The band has been together since 1981 and has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful bands in recent history. So far on their current world tour, which began all the way back in 2008, they have played to over 3.5 million people. With numbers like that it is not hard to see why Metallica are the most successful heavy metal band ever!
Tickets go on sale on Thursday, May 13 at 9am (AEST), with pre-sale tickets available from midday (AEST) Tuesday, May 11 to 5pm (AEST) Wednesday, May 12.
