Oft-criticsed Miley Cyrus has spoken out against the double standards applied to young stars.
Speaking with Access Hollywood, the "Can't Be Tamed" singer explored the backlash she's suffered for 'selling sex' using Zac Efron as an example.
"I love Zac Efron, but what’s he selling? He’s gorgeous, he’s hot, I don’t go see his movie because I’m like, ‘He’s such a fantastic actor.’ He’s a great actor, but he’s hot," Cyrus decalred matter-of-factly.
"He’s just not in a leotard with his legs out. He has his shirt off. So what’s the difference?" Cyrus asked. "In High School Musical… he’s in basketball shorts and his cutoff tank top and all the girls are dying."
Cyrus went on to detail her experiences of touring with the Jonas Brothers, revealing girls have to work harder to "get away" with selling sex.
"It just isn’t as obvious when guys do it," she explained.
