The MTV Europe Music Awards were all about the ladies this year. Beyonce's "Halo" took the gong for Best Song, the not-so-single lady also took the prize for Best Female and Best Video ("Single Ladies - Put A Ring On It"). Lady GaGa snapped up Best New Act and Pixie Lott scored Best Push Artist.
Meanwhile, German group Tokio Hotel took out Best Group. What... the frontwoman is actually a frontman? Whoa, who would've known. (Stress less Bill Kaulitz fans, we're taking the piss). We will however, place him in the hermaphrodite basket with Lady GaGa; you never can be too sure.
It was a celeb-packed event and Katy Perry's outfits didn't disappoint. A dress with massive holes in it and a sexy West Ham basque were enough to get boyfriend Russell Brand tweeting:
"Wow. Now MY GIRLFRIEND has worn a West Ham basque while hosting the EMA's. What a day!I might revive Gandhi and ask if he wants to be mates."
"Yes I will be taking her to a game - West Ham Vs Everton. And, before it begins, no I won't be taking her up the Arsenal."
Now that's a way to a man's heart Katy... sex up his football team's colours.
