Mumford and Sons to release new album, Babel, in September
Mumford and Sons have announced that their second album is titled Babel and will be released on September 21.
The album follows their 2009 debut Sigh No More, which spawned massive singles including "Little Lion Man" and cemented them as a favourite in Australia.
Babel is produced by Markus Dravs, who was behind the band's debut and has also worked with Arcade Fire.
Mumford and Sons said in a statement, "As a band, we’ve never been closer or more collaborative, all working to our strengths. And so we feel that this record is a natural progression that we’re proud of, and we cannot wait to take it out on the road."
The Babel track listing is as follows:
1. "Babel" 2. "Whispers In The Dark" 3. "I Will Wait" 4. "Holland Road" 5. "Ghosts That We Knew" 6. "Lover Of The Light" 7. "Lovers' Eyes" 8. "Reminder" 9. "Hopeless Wanderer" 10. "Broken Crown" 11. "Below My Feet" 12. "Not With Haste"
The band, named the Most Popular International Artist at the ARIA Awards in 2010, is set to hit Australia again later this year. Check out the dates here.
