Budget schmudget... How do you get bang for your student buck? Well once the bills are taken out of the income you don’t really have much to play with so I make do with what I’ve got. My motto is ‘go play on rich week, and stay home on poor week’
Melbourne men need to... what? Need to keep their feminine side on the down-low. These days guys look at a girls regrowth before their assets !
What big issues concern you? (spare us the World Peace crap) The number of young people slipping through the cracks of society due to problems at home is a big issue that needs attention. There are a number of concerns within families including abuse, lack of stability and lack of basic living requirements. I sympathise for them because I know exactly how it feels not to have a stable place to call home. If it wasn’t for the support from a particular teacher I wouldn’t be a uni student today. I consider myself extremely lucky given that someone was there to push me even though I gave her a hard time and convinced myself that I didn’t care about my future. With the lack of support networks available for youths, the number of young people giving up increases. If more attention was given to this area then their wouldn’t be as many youths flirting with the idea of an easy way out, which is normally drugs, alcohol and in some cases suicide.

Why should you be Miss Univers-ity? I represent a stereotypical university student, as clichéd as that is it’s true. My life is all about balance between work and study. As boring as that makes my life sounds it’s the complete opposite. When the books are closed I’m out painting the town. I love the accomplishments of assignments because I know victory drinks are not far away. If being a uni student means that you never have more then two bucks in you pocket, that there is always a fridge full of grog and a group of people that hang around you like a bad smell; then yeah, that’s me.
