Nicki Minaj quits Twitter

The most followed rapper on the website, Minaj closed her Twitter account on Sunday April 15.

Her last message to the world before she deactivated? "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye."

It's anyone's guess as to why Her Minajesty decided to get rid of the social media account, though there had been some altercation with a fansite, NickiDaily, after it posted leaked music.

#NickiComeBack became a trending topic shortly after the account disappeared, with fans worldwide rallying for the rapper to change her mind.

There is hope yet, though - some celebs, including Chris Brown, Kid Cudi and Miley Cyrus, have deleted their Twitter accounts only to return later.
