Nicole Richie must have watched her dad Lionel Richie's dag-tastic performance at the weekend's AFL grand final because she's banned him from singing at her wedding.
There will be no "Dancing on The Ceiling" when Richie marries baby daddy Joel Madden - which is rumoured to be happening later this year - as she has put the kibosh on it against the desires of her hubby-to-be.
Madden said he was keen for Lionel to belt out a little "Hello" or similar at the pending nuptials, which are likely to happen in December.
But Nicole told reporters last night: "I'm not down!"
But she could be lying, considering she also claimed at the event she'd "never" get married. What was that hen's party in Mexico about then?
If Nicole gets her way Lionel won't be too devastated - for the next few years he'll be dining off the fact that someone remembered him enough to invite him to sing at the AFL.
