It looks like Gordon Pickard's going to save the Port Magpies. The SA businessman has given the Power a new sponsorship deal, so they can buy the Prince of Wales Hotel from the Maggies. That'd give Port enough cash to keep playing in the SANFL this season, and maybe even the next 3.
Bikie Associate Dead
It looks like a bikie associate and a convicted drug and arms dealer accidentely blew themselves up in Enfield yesterday. A 30 year old guy fronts court this morning, connected with the blast on Truscott Road that killed the two men on Thursday. The pair was apparently on the way to kill a guy from the New Boys street gang.
Facebook Page Ripped Down
A Facebook group about killing hookers as been shut down here in Australia. A bunch of Aussie school kids created "Killing your hooker so you don't have to pay her", and got 18 thousand members. Sex workers have fired up about it and the page has been removed.
Melbourne Hammered by rain
Adelaide missed out on all the rain yesterday. Melbourne was hammered by 34 mills of the wet stuff, causing flash flooding, black-outs and chaos on the roads. There's even a YouTube video of people swimming down a very flooded Flinders St after the storm hit.
