One Direction fan magazine publishes spiteful Caroline Flack article

A Girl's Guide to One Direction published the following, which calls 32-year-old Flack a "grandma", compares her appearance to that of a goat and claims that "no one wants to be with her".

Flack responded on Twitter, writing, "Im very aware about the voodoo doll article in a certain magazine and have been for some time. It was one of the most hurtful things ive.... Ever read. But thankyou for all the nice supportive messages! I dont take notice of nasty things written to encourage bullying".

A spokesperson for Flack, who dated Styles for three months, told the Mail Online, "This is sad and indicative of what Caroline has had to put up with... She has had some great support on Twitter though from her followers.'

Though the magazine has not responded to requests for comments, the article has sparked a furious response around the world.

Irish media personality Conor Behan tweeted that it was " hideously sexist", while plenty of other tweets propped up expressing disgust at the piece.
