One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" has made the highest UK artist debut on the Billboard charts in 14 years.
The single debuted at #28 and #12 on the Digital Songs chart, selling 132,000 downloads in its first week.
It's the highest UK artist debut in the US since The Verve released "Bittersweet Symphony" all the way back in 1998, landing at #13.
The highest ever US debut for a UK artist was "Wannabe" for the Spice Girls in 1997, landing at #11 and eventually shooting to the top spot.
The 1D boys won their first Brit Award last night for Best British Single.
