One Direction reportedly in rehearsals to play closing ceremony

A source told The Sun that the five-piece will perform their hit "What Makes You Beautiful" at the ceremony on Sunday August 13, from the back of a carnival truck.

"It’s all hush-hush and the boys have been sworn to secrecy," the source said. "But they’ve been at rehearsals and can’t wait to do their bit. It will be an unforgettable occasion and they feel privileged to be a part of it."

Acts confirmed to perform at the ceremony include Muse, Spice Girls, The Who and Pet Shop Boys.
