One Direction's live DVD reaches 6x platinum after one week
The One Direction boys are still on fire in Australia, as their Up All Night live tour DVD has debuted at #1 on the ARIA DVD chart and is accredited 6x platinum after one week.
The concert DVD features 73 minutes of footage of a One Direction concert, plus behind the scenes footage and music videos.
Recently, the five heartthrobs hosted a Twitter viewing party where fans could watch along and interact with them.
The boys also surpassed two million digital downloads of their single, "What Makes You Beautiful", in the US this week.
The group's debut album, Up All Night: The Souvenir Edition, is still doing well, sitting at #3 on the ARIA album chart. It has been certified triple platinum and their singles, "What Makes You Beautiful" and "One Thing", are 5x platinum and 2x platinum respectively.
One Direction's second album is currently being written and recorded.
