Jacki Weaver could soon add a statue of a gold man to her pool room, with the Australian actress nominated for an Oscar.
Weaver has turned her Golden Globe nomination and subsequent loss into potential gold, nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her turn in Animal Kingdom.
She's up against The Figher's Melissa Leo and Amy Adams, Helena Bonham Carter in The King's Speech and Hailee Steinfeld in True Grit.
She told Australian media she slept through the announcement of the nominees - only being woken up by a text message from her ex-husband Derryn Hinch.
Also up for a little gold man is Nicole Kidman for Best Actress in Rabbit Hole. She's competing with Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lawrence and Annette Benning.
Up for multiple awards are The Social Network in categories including Original Score, Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director.
The Kings' Speech and True Grit are also hot contendors, up for multiple statuettes in a range of categories.
The Oscars will be held in Los Angeles on February 27.
