Forget the comedian slash actors or actors slash singers who usually host the Oscars - this year the job has been given to Anne Hathaway and James Franco.
The hip, young Hollywood pair are expected to breathe new life into the tired awards show, which is usually hosted by older men.
Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer said the cute co-hosts represented the new wave of talented Hollywood.
"James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons - fresh, exciting and multi-talented," they said in a statement.
Franco could struggle with his Oscars duties - mostly struggle to keep his hands off his own Oscar if he indeed does win Best Actor, which he's tipped for following his performance in 127 Hours.
Meanwhile Hathaway is tipped to bring a bit of Hugh Jackman style showmanship to the show, having showcased her singing skills in a musical number with Jackman on the show before.
Do you think these two can handle the pressure of turning one of the most boring award shows on TV into something fun?
