In an effort to honour the tragic passing of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool's frontman, Charles Haddon, the band will release their debut album in October.
Haddon died after he jumped off a mast backstage at Belgium's Pukkelpop festival following a performance by Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.
Despite not having released a full length album yet, the band had created a strong worldwide fanbase following the release of singles "Dance The Way I Feel" and "Jackson's Last Stand".
Now Haddon will be honoured by the release of the band's debut album.
Their debut album, The Golden Year, will be released on October 3, closely followed by single "The Key".
A statement released by the Ou Est Le Swimming Pool's management confirms that Haddon's bandmates, Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan, consulted with his family before agreeing to release the album.
The statement also passed on a thank you from Hutchinson and Capan for the support and best wishes offered during this time, but have asked that their privacy be respected while they take some time away.
