Paris Hilton has escaped a jail term for possessing cocaine but it's going to cost her financially and socially.
A plea deal will see her avoid donning the striped pyjamas in return for parting with $2000 and completing 200 hours of community service.
She had to plead guilty to two charges and cop 12 months probation.
As part of the deal the court has specified Paris must "stay out of trouble".
"Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences," court documents state.
Paris was arrested in Las Vegas last month when police smelled marijuana coming from a vehicle she was travelling in with her boyfriend.
Police searched the vehicle and found cocaine in Paris' purse, which she claimed she had borrowed from a friend, later changing her story to say she'd loaned it to a friend and thought the cocaine in it was gum.
It was her second bust in as many months, with police questioning her over marijana smoking at the World Cup. She was released without charge that time.
