Parklife 2012 dates and venues announced

The festival kicks off in Brisbane at the end of September, winding up in Adelaide just over a week later.

Sydney's leg of the festival will change location from Kippax Lake back to its original venue in the scenic Centennial Park.

Festival director John Wall said of the change, “Parklife started its life deep inside Centennial Park, and while Kippax Lake has been a great venue for the last 8 years, we’ve been itching to move back inside the Park for a while, so we’re very excited, not only to be there but right next to the original Parklife 2000 venue.”

The line up is yet to be revealed, but if it's anything like 2011's bill, which featured Gossip, Lykke Li, Santigold and more, it'll be a cracker.

Saturday September 29 - Riverstage and Botanic Gardens, Brisbane
Sunday September 30 - Centennial Park, Sydney
Monday October 1 - Wellington Square, Perth 
Saturday October 6 - Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Kings Domain
Sunday October 7 - Botanic Park, Adelaide
