Rocker and junkie Pete Doherty has been charged with possession of cocaine after the death of heiress Robin Whitehead from a suspected drug overdose.
In the last ten days of her life filming she was filming a documentary about the life and times of the junkie and rock star. Yesterday, Doherty's best friend, Pete Wolfe, was also charged with supplying cocaine as Doherty was charged with possession of the drug.
Wolfe was the one who called in the emergency after finding Ms Whitehead's body in January this year. He later told police she had mixed alcohol and Valium.
It is alleged that Doherty visited the flat where Ms Whitehead's body was found for a party the night before her death . He has always denied any involvement in the 27-year-old's death.
At the time, he said he was "shocked and saddened" by the tragedy.
