Pitbull headed to Alaska in Walmart campaign
The internet strikes again - Pitbull is heading to Kodiak, Alaska after a recent campaign to get him to the Walmart with the most "likes" in the world was pranked!
Walmart and Listerine launched a competition some months ago, promising that the rapper would appear at the Walmart branch that got the most likes on Facebook.
The contest was hijacked by David Thorpe and Jon Hendren of Something Awful, who started their own campaign to get Mr Worldwide to Kodiak, Alaska - and it's worked, with over 71,000 likes on Kodiak's Walmart page.
The town has just 6,000 residents according to the 2010 US census, so they are in for something unique indeed!
