The Presets will release new album, Pacifica, in September
The rumours were true - one of Australia's favourite electronic acts, The Presets, are back, set to release a new album on September 14, 2012.
The new album, Pacifica, will be the duo's first since 2008's massive Apocalypso, which spawned singles including "My People" - which holds down the record as the longest charting Australian single in ARIA chart history - and "This Boy's In Love".
Pacifica, which was self-produced by the band and mixed in Los Angeles with Tony Hoffer, will feature ten brand new songs.
The group has received plenty of accolades for its work, including ARIA awards, APRA awards and countless sold out shows.
Pacifica will be released in CD, vinyl and mp3 form, with a 1500-run limited edition also available.
