Lindsay Lohan is expected to check into rehab on her own accord because she finally wants to cut the drama out of her life.
The troubled actress was remanded in jail on Friday and spent 15 hours in the slammer until she was granted bail at the hefty price of $300,000.
She was thrown in the slammer by Judge Elden Fox after she returned two positive court-mandated drug tests, one for cocaine.
As she was released, photographs surfaced on the net that allegedly show her injecting heroin and making out with Paris Hilton.
Friends say her latest jail experience has finally made her realise she is an addict and needs to clean up her act.
"Lindsay is now agonisingly aware she has an addiction problem and also acknowledges the reality - addicts often backslide before they get better," gossip website TMZ reported.
"We're told Lindsay is telling people she doesn't want this type of life anymore."
The star is talking to family about "intense" rehab to help her overcome her demons and get back on track.
Meanwhile, she'll have to wear her much-hated booze bracelet until October 22 to make sure she stays sober.
