Paramore's remaining members say they were hurt by the Farro brothers' aggressive blog post that aimed at destroying what was left of the Tennessee band.
During a recent chat with MTV, Paramore's remaining band members -- Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and bassist Jeremy Davis -- spoke about their shock and sadness at discovering the accusations made by Josh and Zac Farro.
Shortly after the brothers left Paramore last month, they went public with a blog that accused the band's management of focusing on Williams more than the rest of the band.
"The three of us are still here -- we're not going anywhere," Williams said.
"A lot of kids are still asking if the band is breaking up, and that just goes to show how broken the communication online can be, when rumors start traveling. So this is our way of showing that there's a future and we're stoked for it."
York said they were pretty upset when they found out about what the Farro brothers wrote.
"It was a drag. ...Once we released our statement, we all knew they would probably release something," York said.
"So I think we were all kind of bracing ourselves...It was really hard to read, just because it seemed like a lot of the stuff was pretty irrelevant to what happened. I think that was the weird thing, 'cause it just didn't seem really necessary."
