Ricky Nixon has been banned from working as an AFL player agent for at least two years, and the St Kilda schoolgirl has celebrated on Twitter but believes he should have got “life”.
The 47-year-old made a last minute bid to save his career earlier today but it wasn’t enough, with the AFL players association’s Agent Accreditation Board deciding to revoke his accreditation to work as a player agent.

The board found Nixon had “entered into an inappropriate personal relationship with a young person who had been in conflict with players (he) acts for”, which was in reference to Nixon being the agent to both Nick Dal Santo and Nick Riewoldt who the girl famously released naked photos of.
It also found Nixon had "misrepresented" his relationship with the St Kilda schoolgirl directly to the players he managed.

The 17-year-old made a swift response on Twitter, starting with: “Four Words: I told you so.”
Later, she added “2 Years.. Not good enough. Life is more appropriate."
