Rihanna's boyfriend has listened to her new album and likes what he's heard - as if he was gonna tell her if it sucked?
Or maybe he would... In an interview UK's Capital FM Rihanna said the Los Angeles Dodger Matt Kemp doesn't like "Who's That Chick" - "I guess it's too lightweight pop for him," Rihanna said.
"He really likes, actually, the ballads on the album. Those are his favorite ones," the pop star said. She described the tunes as "fearless," "bold" and "colorful" saying the slow numbers were the hits.
"The ballads on this album are really special. I didn't want to just put a bunch of ballads on the album, I actually wanted to keep it minimal with slow records," she explained. "But there are really two powerful ballads. One is called 'Straight Up Beautiful' and the other one is called 'California King Bed' which is... one of my favorite songs on the album. It's probably going to be the biggest song on the album. It's talking about being this close to someone yet feeling so far away, like falling out of love."
Rihanna said her man often offers feedback on her music.
"I always play him songs when I finish them. I'll bring them back home and ask him what he thinks. At the end of the day, we still disagree on some things but for the most part... he loves everything on the album," Rihanna said.
