Robbie Williams will perform his comeback single Bodies at this year's ARIA awards on November 24.
EMI and ARIA have confirmed the former Take That star will appear at the ceremony, which has lagged in recent years.
Williams will only be in Australia for three days as part of a whirlwind publicity tour to promote his newest album Reality Killed The Video Star, which is set for a November 6 release.
ARIA chairman Ed St John said the opportunity had fallen in their lap and they took about "five seconds" to say yes.
"(EMI executive) Mark Poston asked if we would like Robbie Williams at the ARIAs and everyone said, 'Are you kidding?'," he told Sydney's The Daily Telegraph.
He told the paper thats Pink's appearance on the show last year added enormous value so they jumped at the decision to have another guest of that calibre.
Williams has not performed in Australia since his 2006 world tour.
The ARIAs will air on Channel 9.
